Forthcoming Events in May

Bluebell toddle, Forest School taster session

We welcome all children and families to join us for a walk into the woodland at 3pm followed by a picnic back at the nursery. This will be preceded at 1pm by a Forest School taster session for the older children. Please let Alison, Vicky or Kelly know if you plan to attend so that we can make arrangements for food.

AcornsThis month the children in Acorns will be looking at summer ideas, painting with bright sunny colours and spending more time outside enjoying the warmer weather.

SaplingsThe children have been collecting, printing and washing leaves over the last few weeks ready to make a big display of their work including lots of photos. The children continue to enjoy walking down the lane to see the tractors and are happy that the cows have returned! Activities will focus around vehicles and animals throughout May.

Sycamore– The children will be celebrating May Day and activities will be focused around this. They will also be making bluebell pictures using a variety of different media and techniques.

Willow -The children will be celebrating May Day by making their own May pole to dance around. They will learn about May Day traditions and activities will be planned accordingly. Victoria Day is on the 19th May and children will be making crowns to wear. The children will continue to plant and tend to the garden watching things grow.
