Family (Open) Morning
Please join us for stay and play, painting and craft activities. The morning will follow a similar format to the very successful autumn fair and open day that we held in October. An Usborne children’s books representative have agreed to join us, however the emphasis will mainly be on having fun and joining in for all of the family, with staff supporting some fun activities for children and parents to enjoy together. We plan to end the morning with sponsored “flower-walk” treasure hunt (in aid of the Myton hospices) to the bluebells in the woods (the bluebells should be in bloom) followed by a teddy bears picnic in the nursery gardens (weather permitting) or in the nursery if the weather is inclement.
Ryton Pools “Minibeasties” hunt and Forest School activities
Families are invited to join us on this morning while the Rangers support children aged of around 3+ years, with an accompanying parent, in their discovery of nature in the fields and woodland. This is a great activity for parents and children together which we did a couple of years ago. We then all enjoyed our picnics together afterwards while children of all ages enjoyed the play areas. Booking forms will be available soon; the activity will cost around £4 per child. There will be a limited number of places available (30 for the activities, although more children can of course come along to the park) so please return forms promptly as places will be offered on a first come first served basis. N.B. The car park costs £2 at Ryton Pools
