Christmas Closure Reminder- The nursery closes on Christmas Eve at 2pm each year and remains closed until 2nd January (therefore next year we re-open on Wednesday 2nd January 2013). This year we will be having our children’s Christmas party on Friday 21st December. Father Christmas will be visiting the children in the afternoon after which we will have our party tea and play some party games. If your child does not usually attend on this day you are more than welcome to come along and join in with the festivities at 3pm until 4.30pm. In order for us to make catering arrangements please let your child’s keyworker know by Friday 14th December if you plan to bring your child along.
Christmas Nativity arrangements: This year the children’s Nativity performance will take place on Saturday 8th December at 11am in St Marks Church, Bilton. Please do not arrive before 10.40. Everyone is welcome at the church to celebrate and there will be songs that all children can sing. We would ask Willow Lodge parents to take their children to the stage on arrival at the church where staff will take care of them for the duration of the play. Please could parents and children remain in their seats for the children’s Nativity as we will be photographing and filming the performance and copies will be available. After the children’s performance the group will return to their parents while the Reverend Tim carries out the traditional family service. Following the service we would ask you make your way to the Parish Rooms for a pot-luck (bring a plate of finger snacks) lunch party if you wish. Due to the number of families we have this year we would ask you to be thoughtful of how many relatives attend the service. If you plan to attend could you please complete the tear off slip indicating how many people will be attending. We may need to limit numbers if it looks as though the church might be uncomfortably crowded. Please also be mindful of the limited parking at the Church and where possible please walk or car share.
