At Nature Trails we seek to recruit level 3 Early Years Educators and Practitioners that have the skills to support the learning and development of specific children and to work in partnership with parents. However there may be opportunities for suitable applicants with other qualifications to work as Nursery Care Assistants while they gain more experience, or study to advance their Early Years qualifications to level 3 and beyond.
Apprenticeships and Internships may be available for suitable applicants over 17 years old that are seeking to embark on a child care career for the first time. Selection of staff for all new appointments (including apprentices and volunteers) is dependent on a successful written application, interview and trial session (1 day). Successful applicants must also complete a health declaration, provide two reliable references and undergo DBS clearance (funded by Nature Trails).
Following appointment, new employees undertake a six month probation period, supported by a mentor, to include a full induction training programme that will focus on their personal learning needs.
